The Omni Power Lift Lounger Recliner has a sturdy frame and heavy-duty drive mechanism for exceptional needs. A convenient remote puts control in your hands.     This chair was purchased with my husband in mind, but I love to relax in it too. We received it recently, and he is very pleased and impressed with it, even praising it constantly. He is a big tall man and this is the first recliner to fit his frame nicely. It more than meets our expectations -- the steel frame is very strong, the fabric is handsome and of a durable quality, and the cushioning is very plump and comfortable, yet the recliner is supportive. Initially we were concerned about the arms not being cushioned enough, as my husband has arthritis. But no problem there, they are big and plush (with protective arm coverings as a bonus). The mechanism is noiseless, and the power lift works very smoothly and safely for giving some assistance in rising from the chair. The chair is made in the U.S.A. and should last for many years to come. All in all, this is without doubt the best recliner purchase we have ever made. For anyone who is thinking of buying this recliner, do it -- you won't be sorry!

    The operation of the chair is loud, the weight rating is 400 lbs, I don't come anywhere near that, yet the chair sounds like it is struggling terribly under my weight. It feels like it is a little lop sided when in full recline. It is pretty in my living room although ice black is actually blue. Once in reclining position it is comfortable. The lift mechanism does not lift me into a full upright, I still have to struggle a little to get up, however it is still much better than having to get up from a normal stationary chair.

      During process of investigating a lift chair, called Recliners + representative to get complete definition of "reclines 180 degree. I was told it meant that it fully reclines flat like. I was happy with that so I could use it to sleep in. However after unpacking chair, it does not recline even as far as my previous rocker recliner.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Intrigued by price and price alone, I bit and crossed my fingers[...]Needed help from a friend getting it inside but after the unveiling, I was amazed...very decent material which is more blue than black-pearl, comfortable, and lift is quiet too...just awoke from a 3½ hour nap and am looking forward to the next...BUY ONE everybody, it is GRRRRRRREAT

        A: The depth of the seat when not reclined is 21 inches.  The feet cannot be extended when the head rest isn't back.
